How Polls With Voting Rights Work

Polls with the "One vote per voting token" setting require that a token be included when voting. Typically, the tokens, which are unique for each participant, are sent by email. If you are a participant in a poll and have not received a token, please contact the poll creator.

If you have created a poll where only invited participants are to vote, you must distribute the tokens yourself. This is possible in two ways. Both options can be found under "Invite" in the menu of a poll.

1. Invitation by email. Provide one or more email addresses of participants who should vote in the poll. They will receive their personal voting link including token. Neither you nor the participants have to pay attention to anything else.
2. Manual invitations. In the second tab of the invitation window you will find the possibility to generate as many tokens as you like. Afterwards you have to distribute them to the participants. A copy and paste into a spreadsheet program is helpful for this, which is why we offer helpers for this.
